As Dan's neighbor and friend, please consider donating to his campaign. I cannot stress enough how important it is to send him to Washington D.C. This past week, our Congressional representation used the impeachment hearings to further divide us for their own political gain. Using fear and false narratives, they ask for money to support their campaigns. Sending money to elected officials who promote division only encourages more of same. It's time we send a message to politicians who are more concerned with power and majorities than representing the people that elected them. Dan Ahlers served as my state representative for 6 years. During that time, he supported education, improvements to roads and infrastructure and improved access to rural healthcare. Dan helped expand the number of people served and providers accepted by Medicaid. He even helped get a long overdue increase to the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families program. More importantly, he represented the people that elected him. If you have a question or need help, Dan is always there to listen. He did all of this while working as a minority member of the legislature. He didn't spend his time complaining about the numbers or right-wing conservatives. He simply did his job. We need someone in Washington who work for us. I know it's the holidays and we have other things to spend our money on, but a small donation of $5, $10 or $20 can help support Dan's campaign in a big way.
